Adjusting to life after a baby is challenging enough, but adding the pressure of returning to work can bring a whole new level of stress and uncertainty.

You might find yourself wondering:

– “How will I cope with being away from the baby all day?”
– “What if he doesn’t settle in crèche?”
– “Am I making the right choice going back to work full time?”
– “How will I manage everything – dinner, cleaning, washing?”
– “Will I remember how to do my job? I can’t even remember to pick up milk!”

Or maybe you’re already back at work, feeling pulled in a million different directions, but no matter how hard you try, it’s never enough.

– “Does everyone think I’m slacking off because I have to leave on time to pick up the baby?”
– “I’m so tired. I just can’t keep up with it all.”
– “Will I miss out on that promotion if they think I can’t manage everything?”
– “Is this really what I want from my career? Maybe I should go part-time?”
– “Why does everyone else seem to have it together when I feel like I’m barely surviving?”

You Don’t Have to Do This Alone

It might look like everyone else is managing beautifully (or that’s what social media would have you believe!), but I promise, you are not alone in this.

You can love your kids and enjoy your work but still find it all incredibly hard to balance – and that’s ok.

Feeling like this doesn’t mean you’re failing – it means you’re ready for support.

At The Parent NEST, I offer personalised 1:1 coaching to support you through the challenges of life as a working parent, helping you reduce the overwhelm, regain your confidence and find a way forward that’s right for you, both at home and at work.

Empowering You as a Parent and Professional

Parenthood isn’t just about looking after your baby – it’s also about rediscovering who you are. Being a parent can shift your values and priorities. Maybe you want more family time, or perhaps financial security has become more important. And if you’re away from your child while you work, it’s only natural to want your job to be meaningful and fulfilling.

My coaching takes a holistic approach, helping you navigate these changes and find alignment between your family life, relationships, personal well-being and career.

Our coaching sessions give you a space to work through what’s on your mind and map out your next steps in a way that feels right for you. Forget the “shoulds” – we’ll focus on what really matters to you and your family.

Whether you’re still in the postpartum phase or adjusting to life back at work, building a foundation of support is about so much more than reducing stress. It’s an investment in your long-term happiness and your family’s well-being.

My own poll of over 50 working mum’s show:

0
% said they suffered with guilt when returning to work
0
% suffered from imposter syndrome
0
% said they suffered with low confidence as they returned to work
0
% felt anxious ahead of returning to work after their Mat/Pat leave

It is due to these numbers, that I truly believe, a specific tailored support is needed at this unique time in a parents home life and career.

In our coaching sessions, we will:

  • Talk through what’s on your mind: We’ll talk about what’s weighing on you – whether that’s feeling anxious about leaving your baby in childcare, juggling household responsibilities, or reevaluating your career path. I’ll listen without judgment and help you get to the heart of what’s really going on.
  • Identify clear, manageable goals: We’ll define what success looks like for you at work and at home. Then, we’ll set realistic goals that work for your life and family situation.
  • Create a plan that works for you: We’ll build a plan that reduces overwhelm and gives you the resources and know-how to take on challenges like setting boundaries, improving communication, or managing your time and energy more effectively.

After our sessions, you’ll have:

  • Clarity and Focus: You’ll feel more ready to handle the practical and emotional challenges of returning to work, knowing exactly what your next steps are.
  • Confidence and Calm: With the overwhelm lifted, you’ll feel more confident in yourself and your abilities and more at peace with your decisions.
  • Tailored Tools and Strategies: I’ll share practical tools to help you build resilience and feel more in control when life gets hectic. Balance isn’t a one-time fix – it’s something you adjust as life changes. Together, we’ll develop approaches you can rely on to manage the ups and downs of parenting and work with more confidence and ease.

How It Works

  1. Book a Free Consultation Call: We’ll start with a free 20-minute consultation to discuss your needs, challenges, and goals. This gives you a chance to see how coaching could benefit you and if we’re a good fit.
  2. Schedule Your Sessions: If you choose to move forward, I’ll send you a link to book your 1:1 sessions at a time that suits you. Sessions can be held online or in person at my workspace in Wexford – whichever works best for you. Once booked, you’ll receive the necessary details and links, and payment will be due at that time.
  3. Coaching Tailored to Your Unique Journey: Most parents find that 2-3 sessions are enough to make a real difference, but we’ll take it one session at a time to ensure it’s right for you. Sessions offer a safe, supportive space where you can speak freely and know that your concerns and challenges will be met with empathy and understanding.
